We need your help to raise community awareness and support for a 62-year-old State College man who has been unjustly imprisoned for over 40 years, sentenced to life without parole. Authorities provided no witnesses, no motive, no weapon, or any other direct evidence linking him to the crime. It has now come to light that prosecutors withheld evidence that could have exonerated him. Subu has a clear constitutional right to a hearing on the evidence that prosecutors concealed in the past. Subu Vedam deserves a fair hearing, and a request for a court hearing on the new evidence is currently pending before a Centre County Judge, scheduled for July 22nd.
Join us on June 16th at 11:30 am at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Centre County for a Subu Vedam Day of Awareness! Please bring your friends and family as we build community support to demonstrate that our community is committed to rectifying an old injustice! Let's show that we care and firmly believe that Subu deserves a fair hearing!
